Out last thoughts on the outline we can present to the other groups.

As discussed earlier, we thought along the lines of:

  • A basic outline of the differences we have explored between metacognitive and cognitive strategies, including a list of each.
  • How these can be used by learners (L1 and L2) to develop reading skills, having reflected on the reports/articles we have entered on our wikispace
  • We can move on from this to discussing how these skills can be applied online to facilitate and develop reading skills (again, using the reports we have talked about, along with our own ideas)
  • Finally, in summarizing, we can link this into our experience on this webquest: what kind of metacognitive and cognitive skills we found ourselves using, and how these developed as our quest progressed
